The new Piaggio Beverly 300 city scooter has arrived. The scooter has a new design for 2010, LED daytime running and chrome features. The Beverly 300 has enough power and comfort for short and mid-range touring and consumes less energy thanks to the new electronic cooling system.
The italians finally introduced the new Beverly 300 for the 2010 model year. The scooter has a more modern look with the new lights but didn’t loose it’s classy style. It has twin-tone colours, aluminium inserts and a metal look finish, combined with little touches such as a motorcycle-derived tank cap. The riding position has been modified to further improve comfort with different ride heights for both rider and passenger and a remodelled saddle.
The engineers revised the braking system, which includes a 300 mm semi-floating disc with double-piston caliper, while the rear features a 240 mm disc brake. The Beverly comes in 125 and 300 cc engine capacity, both with electronic injection systems. The four-stroke, four-valve 300 cc engine produces 22,2 HP and 23 Nm of torque. The motor has a new ECS (electronic cooling system) water cooling system, which consumes less energy.
The 125 cc and 300 cc Beverly are avaliable in the color schemes of Perseus Bronze, Pearl White, Midnight Blue, Cosmo Black and Antares Red. The 300 cc version costs € 4090 in Italy including VAT.
