Although Italian design found its peak in the 1960′s, they can create fantastic cars and motorcycles nowadays, too. A couple of students in their second year of the IED design institute made two interesting concepts, based on the Moto Guzzi Griso performance cruiser and the Ducati Hypermotard supermoto.
The nine students designed two bikes with no fairings, fuel tank and exhaust. The aim was an exciting design with a charisma, and they certainly succeeded. The Griso got a characteristic retro style with redesigned aerodynamic but chunky front and a strong rear look. The other concept, based on the Ducati Hypermotard is much more recognisable. The front beak and tank cover fairing get a more integrated design. Which of the two do you prefer?
