The Institutio Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin has a collaboration with Ducati as part of a three year post-diploma course in Transportation Design. The Italian manufacturer is looking for new market segments and potential design direction with an eye on a younger demographic, enlisted the students to draw potential future Ducatis. A former Ford Motor Co. Engineer has developed a fuel injection system for small engines that can reduce emissions from motorcycles and ATVs. "It's something that people don't realize, but the traditional automobile has come a long way in becoming much cleaner than smaller engines," Kyle Schwulst told CNN. After holding an online contest to name its 125cc learner street bike, KTM has decided what to name the bike: the KTM 125 Duke. This name was selected after month of speculation. The Austrian company tries to engage young riders with the „Ready to Race” mantra, making them lifetime Team Orange riders with this stepping-stone model.
