Future Ducati Concepts from IED

The Institutio Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin has a collaboration with Ducati as part of a three year post-diploma course in Transportation Design. The Italian manufacturer is looking for new market segments and potential design direction with an eye on a younger demographic, enlisted the students to draw potential future Ducatis. The students came up with ten design sketches, five were chosen for further refinement by teams of two who then had to build a 1:4 scale model. Read the full article »

Young company develops fuel injectors for two-stroke engines

A former Ford Motor Co. Engineer has developed a fuel injection system for small engines that can reduce emissions from motorcycles and ATVs. "It's something that people don't realize, but the traditional automobile has come a long way in becoming much cleaner than smaller engines," Kyle Schwulst told CNN. 2011 Can-Am Spyder Roadster lineup revealed

Canadian manufacturer Can-Am launched its 2011 Spyder lineup, which comes with a new model and revised features of the existing models, as well as various enhancements brought to the dedicated clothing range. Honda unveils 2011 motorcycles

Honda recently revealed a few of its street bikes for the 2011 model year. "The 2011 model year lineup continues to expand for Honda," stated Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino. "Here we have a variety of very popular cruisers and customs, a pair of Honda off-road machines that have remained extremely popular with riders over the years, plus a revamped and very impressive Big Red MUV. Video: 2011 KTM 125 Duke officially named

After holding an online contest to name its 125cc learner street bike, KTM has decided what to name the bike: the KTM 125 Duke. This name was selected after month of speculation. The Austrian company tries to engage young riders with the „Ready to Race” mantra, making them lifetime Team Orange riders with this stepping-stone model. Kawasaki presents the 2011 ZX-10R at Nürburgring

After two months of teasing, the team at Kawasaki have finally decided to take the wraps of the latest Ninja racebike. The Japanese team has slowly been leaking photos and videos of the new ZX-10R through a massive online social marketing campaign, which centered around the company’s twitter account. MV Agusta reveals top gun

MV Agusta, recently reclaimed by Italy from Harley-Davidson, hasn’t wasted any time in reminding everyone that it’s alive and kicking and still making „new” bikes. 2011 Yamaha 125cc and 250cc scooters with ABS

The Japanese manufacturer launched its 2011 scooters including new X-Max special versions and range-wide design updates. Highlights for 2011 includes ABS, as well as new special Sports and Business Editions of the X-Max 125, and a Sport edition of the X-Max 250. With the introduction of optional ABS on the Yamaha X-Max 250 and X-Max 125 models, riders can enjoy enhanced control in various riding conditions.
