The Japanese brand just released the full specifications of its 2011 maxi scooter lineup, including the T-Max 500 ABS. The manufacturer also presented an innovative special edition version of the bike, called the Tech Max. Yamaha wanted to combine the convenience of a scooter with the supreme comfort and exciting performance of a sports-touring motorcycle. The result is the T-Max 500 Tech Max which takes the classic T-Max design to the next level.
A series of eye-catching new design touches includes polished wheel rims, silver tech bronze colour-scheme and graphics, special dashboard elements and a Tech Max embossed duo-tone seat. Inherited from supersport bikes, the dual 267mm front disc brakes feature 4-piston front callipers. Combined with a single 267mm rear disc brake, these let riders bring the TMAX to a rapid, assured stop. The T-Max Tech Max also features optional ABS, allowing riders to enjoy even greater control in all riding conditions.
The Tech Max features:
- Innovative die-cast aluminium chassis
- Large diameter wheels
- Triple disc brake system
- Motorcycle-style telescopic front forks
- Plush duo-tone dual seat and passenger grip for comfort
