No, Ferrari didn’t start building motorcycles. This machine was built by Kay Engineering as a tribute to Enzo Ferrari. The one-off motorcycle features a 900cc, transverse double overhead camshaft, four-cylinder engine, which is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The eight-valve unit delivers 105hp at 8,800rpm and has a dry weight of only 172 kg. The estimated top speed of the machine is 265 km/h. The bike will be auctioned at a Race Retro event which will take place at Stoneleigh Park, Conentry on 25-27 February.
The Ferrari 900 price tag starts at GBP 250,000 ($400,000).
