What you can see here is the Erik Buell Racing 1190RS Carbon Edition. The bike goes into production this year but don’t get too excited because only 100 or so units will be sold to help get the 1190RS homologated for racing purposes. As the name suggests the 1190RS Carbon Edition features premium materials such as carbon fibre and magnesium. The hand-built machine will most likely appear at Daytona Bike Week in March but other sources say that Buell would bring it to Indianapolis Dealer Expo this weekend.
