MA Product design students at the Birmingham Institute of Art & Design have produced a collection of prototype accessories. Students have drawn inspiration from the Triumph Bonneville T100. The collection of 18 alternative lifestyle „accessories”were judged by a team from Triumph. Following their deliberations the judges chose British student, Nick Orme’s, ‘Corkscrew’, incorporating a brake lever assembly, as the winning prototype design awarding him a placement at Triumph.
“As for the judging, it has been very tough to try and find one or two products that shone out over the rest, so it was a really, really close call and we would like to congratulate everybody.”– said Nick Bloor, CEO of Triumph.
