Honda is pleased to announce a further model to its 2011 two-wheel line-up, with the forthcoming addition of the new Vision scooter. This stylish 110cc-powered scooter joins Honda’s fast-growing and popular twist-and-go family, and has been designed as an adaptable commuter that combines ample performance with superb fuel economy and generous storage, as well as great comfort for both rider and pillion.
The Vision’s sleek, attractive body design has an ergonomically sculpted one-piece seat at a height of 760mm, also allowing for plenty of legroom. There is also generous luggage space under the seat, with the additional option of helmet holders on both sides of the underseat compartment, to allow for this area to be left for luggage or shopping. The leg shield in front of the rider provides not only effective weather protection but also additional storage as the two open compartments are ideal for holding drinks bottles securely. The Vision has been designed with economy in mind and as such returns a superb fuel consumption of 50.2km/l* (140mpg) from its 110cc four-stroke engine with PGM-FI fuel injection engine with electric start. And at just 102kg, this scooter is nimble with confident handling, which is assisted by telescopic forks and hydraulic damping for a smooth ride while the Combined Braking System (CBS) provides optimal braking in all conditions.
Due in dealerships in early Autumn 2011, the Vision will be available in Pearl Procyon Black, Boss Grey Metallic, Pearl White, Candy Lucid Red and Candy Aluja Blue. The price of this stylish little number will be announced closer to its launch date but is anticipated to be priced competitively to provide a real alternative mode of transport for both young people and commuters alike. There will also be a range of Genuine Honda Accessories available for the Vision, including an alarm kit and U-lock to enhance security, top box and separate top box inner bag for carrying additional luggage, plus a high windscreen, knuckle visor set and scooter blanket to make riding more comfortable.
