Video: ¼ mile race BMW S1000RR, F800R, R1200GS, M3 and M5

German motorcycle accessory specialist Hornig organized a quarter mile race with the finest BMW machines with two and four wheels. It’s no surprise that the S1000 RR won the race with 9,72 sec. The F800R – which has only 87hp – rocketed to second place with 11,54 sec. The R1200GS Adventure finished third with 11,86 sec, while the M5 beat the M3 by just 0,06 second. It’s amazing to see that these „slow” bikes with under 100hp beat these fine sports cars.
