Triumph added two new Tiger 800 models to expand the range to six with the XRt and XCa versions. Both models are an evolution of the well-known Tiger 800 XC that get a few visual and technical upgrades which set them apart from the standard bikes. The XRt is a bit closer to the sport-adventure category while the XCa is built for tougher off-roading. The two new Tigers will be available in dealers from June 2015. Read the full article »

„Ignite Straight 6" is a custom project of the manufacturer involving the K 1600 GTL, BMW’s flagship model equipped with a straight-six engine and some of Japan’s best custom motorcycle builders. BMW Japan has just revealed two custom bikes of the project, one from Keiji Kawakita of HOT-DOCK CUSTOM-CYCLES and Kenji Nagai of Ken’s Factor – both of them are pioneering figures on Japan’s custom bike scene. News from Italy seems to confirm that Marzocchi is being closed down, after parent company Tenneco made the decision to close the Italian firm’s Bologna factory in Zola Predosa. Marzocchi is one of the largest brands in the market of motorcycle suspension parts and supplies suspension to a large number of manufacturers like MV Agusta, BMW, Ducati, KTM, GasGas or Bimota. Moto Guzzi USA has just unveiled the new 2016 pre-production Audace model for the first time in the North America, along with pricing at $15,590. The Audace, that couples the mechanics of the beautiful California with a muscular and completely chromeless look, is set to arrive at US dealers in July as a brother of another special bike, the 2016 Moto Guzzi Eldorado. American company Motus decided to make a crazy supercharged version of the MSTR sport touring bike. To be fair, there’s almost nothing Cafe Racer about the Lone Star 2, maybe the seat, but the machine is still an amazing creature with its aggressive lines and its magnificent 230hp supercharged V4. Triumph Motorcycles America has posted great first quarter sales numbers. This record setting first quarter by Triumph Motorcycles America, which included the highest single day retail sales ever on March 31st, resulted in the company as the top selling European brand in North America. The ranking is based upon motorcycle unit sales in the 500cc-plus on-road and dual-sport categories for the U.S. and Canada. Read the full article »

The manufacturer has revealed a new package that adds more protection to the mechanical parts while being highly stylish and aggresive. Europe's motorcycle market grew by 0.6% over the first two months of 2015, but markets like UK, Spain performed more positively with +11.5%, and +13.1%, respectively. Other countries like France, Germany performed not so well and reported decreased sales numbers.
