Akrapovič’s latest addition to its ever-expanding range of Ducati exhaust systems aims to “Release the Beast” lurking within the Italian brand’s latest iconic motorcycle, the Scrambler. The Slip-On range is constructed using ttiaium and will deliver a solid power gain across the whole rev range. According to Akrapovic, installing the cans only takes 45 minutes.

The Ducati Scrambler family is an up-to-date reincarnation of one of the firm’s most distinctive bikes. It is this philosophy that Akrapovič has embraced to create a classic-looking exhaust system that adds to the bike’s retro appearance, while increasing performance and adding a fantastic Akrapovič sound.
The new Slip-On Line exhaust range for the Ducati Scrambler is constructed using high-grade titanium and will be available as an ECE- and EC-approved exhaust system or as a non-type-approved Open version.

The Slip-On Line exhaust will deliver a solid and impressive power gain across the rev range, especially from 6,800 rpm onwards. The use of race-inspired materials will also reduce weight. With a new shaped pre-muffler in stainless steel on the type-approved version, there is also an optional catalytic converter to make it ECE- and EC-approved.

Removable noise-reduction inserts have been specially designed for the rear mufflers. With the inserts in place, the system is suitable for everyday use, but when removed the sound levels rise, making it perfect for special occasions.
The Slip-On system is in harmony with the Ducati’s styling
Optional headers are available for both exhausts, created to turn the Slip-Ons into complete systems. Manufactured from high-grade titanium, these superbly finished headers have larger tubes to improve airflow and increase performance to even greater levels, as well as impressively reducing weight in comparison to stock items. Also available as an option is a hand-crafted carbon-fibre heat shield, which is available for both systems to replace the stock version and will add to the overall appearance of the exhaust and the bike
