Ducati have just announced two special packs for the 899 Panigale supersport bike to enhance the performance and practicality of the model. The Sport pack includes many carbon fibre and aluminium parts, making the bike lighter and more aggressive while the touring pack brings funcionality, making the 899 Panigale more comfortable on longer rides. The two packages are already available.

Do you feel that you stock-trim 899 Panigale is missing something? In case you want to make it faster or more practical, Ducati has a solution to your problem. The Italians have just revealed two new packs, the Sports and Touring, allowing customers to complete the ideal set-up.

The Sports package has two objectives: to make the bike look more aggressive and shave a couple of kilograms off. Therefore, the package includes ultralight elements with streamlined looks. The package includes carbon fibre covers for ignition switch and rear shock absorber, an adhesive carbon tank protector, a carbon sprocket cover kit, carbon heel guards for rider footpegs, an aluminium tank plug and a carbon and aluminium alloy number plate holder. Black handlebar weights are also included.
The main goal of the Touring package was to make the Panigale more comfortable and practical. The package contains a water radiator protection grid kit, an anti-theft system, a rider comfort seat ideal for longer distance trips and magnetic tank bag with a total 12-liter (0.42 cubic feet) capacity.
Engine-wise, all remained the same, the bike is still powered by the Superquadro Desmo, delivering 148 hp at 10,750 rpm and 99 Nm (73.0 lb-ft) az 9,000 rpm.
