In conjunction with its global public debut at the American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Florida, Honda Motor Europe has announced the arrival of the 2016 model year CBR500R. The bike still features the 471cc parallel twin of this year’s version but it get some aeshetic changes. Zero Motorcycles today unveiled their complete line of 2016 motorcycles. The California-based manufacturer promises increased battery efficiency to improve range and battery capacities across the board while adding two new models and other accessories. The first new model is the DSR which is a dual-sport bike with a 70-hp motor. The other newbie is a supermoto called FXS powered by a 44hp electric motor. Clixk through for more detais. Husqvarna has finally released the first video of its newest bike, the 701 Supermoto. The short video shows us how the bike moves on a proper race track – pretty good we have to say. The engine of the new Husky delivers about 70hp while dry weight is just 145 kg (320lbs) – there’s every chance that the 701 Supermoto will be a real hooligan on the street. The British manufacturer has just confirmed that the new Bonneville will be revealed later this month – most likely at the EICMA show in Italy. The teaser video contains some details and glimpses of the new Bonnie, which will most likely feature a brand new liquid-cooled engine. The newbie is the WR450F, a sophisticated enduro racer that benefits from some of the most advanced engine and chassis technology to be seen in its category. Honda has just announced a range of upgrades for the CBR500R, its sports middleweight bike first launched two years ago. The new CBR500R has an edgier, more agressive front end with LED lights. Other changes include a larger fuel tank, revised suspension, new exhaust and colour schemes. Three large manufacturers this week announced an agreement to jointly develop connected motorcycles, with focus on safety. The brands will promote the Cooperative-Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for powered two-wheelers and form a central coordinating unit called Connected Motorcycle Consortium.
