The original Suzuki Katana revolutionized the market when it went into serial production in 1982. It was a machine before her time, a futuristic sports touring bike with great performance. Well, Icon thought it’s time to bring back the iconic name and design. 2015 is a very special year for the legendary Yamaha VMAX as it celebrates its 30-year anniversary. The game-changing bruiser dropped jaws across the motoring world on its original launch in 1985 with its awe-inspiring power. 2015 might be the year of the Scrambler. Last year, Ducati joined Triumph and revealed its own factory scrambler and Moto Guzzi just revealed a kit that turns the V7 into a true scrambler. The Ducati ST2 was the first sport touring machine from Ducati when it was revealed in 1997. In its core, the ST2 had very much racing genes but with all the plastic and bags, it all remained hidden. Peter Bösel, a guy from Bavaria wanted to see that raciong heritage on his own ST2 so he and his wife radically rebuilt the bike with the help of a Spanish custom Ducati garage. And when you think of Cafe Racers, you put Italian motorcycle shops and custom garages definitely high up on the list.
