The famous actor’s original 1969 Electra Glide will be auctioned on June 27 at Julien’s. The bike comes with original papers that prove the change of ownership – Brando bought the bike on April 8, 1970. Unfortunately, there’s no official statement on the condition of the Electra Glide, but it has 13,859 miles (22,299 km) on it and it is expected to bring $400K. Read the full article »

Aprilia’s 50cc SR Motard was originally scheduled to go sale in 2012 but after some delays, it arrived in the dealerships almost a year later, in the Summer of 2013. Since then, it’s one of the sportiest scooter of the segment. It features sharp styling, affordable price tag and a revvy engine that churns out 4,6hp at 8,000rpm. German motorcycle accessory company Hornig has just revealed a new kit for the BMW R1200R. The kit gives the bike a bit more comfort and safety compared to the original roadster and on top we added some storage space for the next tour. The package includes a touring windshield, seat alteration, tank bag, rear bag, new mirrors, foot pegs, protectors, exhaust and even handlebars. Read the full article »
Turning a Harley Forty-Eight into a streetfighter-style motorcycle? Now, that sounds like an ambitious project and that’s exctly what Taiwanese custom garage Rough Crafts did here. The bike, nicknamed “Hooligan Tactics”, features Harley XR1200 swingers, inverted forks, Progressive shocks and a list of other unique details that, including a unique digital camouflage paint job. The 2015 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob is a look back at bikes that were riding the salts of Bonneville in Utah. The old bikes used an engine that is still in production, and that engine straddles the undercarriage of the bike. Suzuki has updated its GSX-R range of superbikes with a new MotoGP livery. Thanks to the new colour option, the three GSX-R models look like the race machines of Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro on race weekends. Suzuki didn’t touch the mechanics but the largest Gixxer got a special trim with with an SET (Suzuki Exhaust Tuning) valve and a Yoshimuira exhaust that improves the bike’s performance. As we reported earlier, Victory Motorcycles, in partnership with Roland Sands Design and Cycle World, will race a new prototype engine at the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb on June 28. The race bike, named Project 156 was fully revealed today. It features an Indian-based, 1133cc V-Twin Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes and carbon bodywork while the frame was built by Roland Sands. The new 750 Dorsoduro is a fun, real world motorcycle that is cheaper than the Ducati Hypermotard and the KTM 990 Supermoto. But is it better? Aprilia’s Supermoto may be not as radical as the Ducati Hypermotard or as beautifully aggresive as the MV Agusta Rivale 800 but it’s still entertaining, practical and it has the best ergonomics in its class.
