Two pictures of Suzuki’s new middle-class adventure bike

The Japanese manufacturer is working on a brand new middle-weight adventure bike. It’s still unclear whether the replacement of the V-Strom will feature a 650cc, an 800cc or even a 1000cc engine. Sources say that the new bike will be more off-road capable than the current V-Strom. Unfortunately, the teaser images don’t show much, but we are sure that we will see more images in the near future. Rumors from Europe suggest some styling cues from the Gladius, with a more off-road-oriented design with spoked wheels replacing the cast aluminum hoops on the V-Strom, and more robust suspension bits. Read the full article »

New colour schemes for 2011 Peugeot Tweet RS scooter

Peugeot have introduced two cool new colour schemes for their big wheel 125 RS scooter in response to booming demand for machines of this capacity from customers. Featuring striking ice white or mad black bodywork, contrasting black wheels with polished alloy rims and 226mm Shuricane wavy front disc brake, the 125 RS is a striking machine. Sales of scooters rose by 30% during the first three months of 2011 in Great Britain, with the 125cc capacity growing by an equally impressive 27%. Read the full article »

New graphics for the 2012 Honda XR650L

According to Honda, the XR650L „has grown to become a legend in its own time”, which usually means the bike is on the market long time ago and its successor is on its way. This time, we’ll have to wait more. For the 2012 model year, the XR650L will return to accomplish all kinds of two-wheeled missions once more. The 650 is a street legal, multi-purpose bike, capable of handling demanding off-road routes, single-track, winding fire roads, paved roads, highways and freeways. Read the full article »

2011 Vespa S Sport and GTS SuperSport

The Sport special edition of Vespa embodies the values of style, comfort and sportiness while citing the legendary models of the past such as the 1955 Vespa GS 150, the 1965 180 SS and the T5 „Pole Position” from 1985. 2012 Honda NSF250R Moto3 race bike revealed

Honda has finally took the wraps off the 2012 NFS250R Moto3 race bike. The NFS250R is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 249 cc engine which was specifically designed for Moto3 to be lightweight and compact while delivering high output. To achieve this high output together with excellent responsiveness, the machine incorporates a front-intake/rear-exhaust configuration with high charging efficiency, while adopting a layout with the cylinder tilted back 15° to concentrate mass. Read the full article »

2011 Piaggio Liberty Teens revealed

Piaggio has revealed the new Liberty 50 Teens scooter. With over half a million units sold, the Liberty is a best seller on the lightweight scooter market. For the year 2011, the scooter comes out with a completely redesigned style dedicated to younger users: the Teens version features chromatic contrast drawn from the bright pastel white of the bodywork. First sketches of Husqvarna’s 900cc road bike

Husqvarna has released new sketches of its first street machine. The naked streetfighter/supermoto will use the recently announced 900cc parallel twin developed by Husqvarna in conjunction with its parent company BMW. The bike has minimalist lines, small tank and red, black and white colors. The current BMW F800 engine develops 85hp, while the new 900cc version will reportedly deliver around 95 bhp and 70 ft-lb torque with a claimed power delivery that's both linear and smooth at low rpm, but robust at high rpm. Read the full article »

VR6, EVO6, Concept 6 – Six-cylinder bikes of the near future

There are currently two motorcycle concepts with six-cylinder engine that may see mass production in the near future. Japanese manufacturer Honda was first to the game when it revealed the EVO6 concept back in 2007 which was built around the company’s large luxury touring machine, the Gold Wing. Super Motor Company and Colette creates a vintage-styled super scooter

Super Motor is a small dutch company which was founded in 2009 by two petrol veined cousins. They have teamed up with Parisian boutique extraordinaire Colette to create a limited edition of the cheap, Chinese-made, 21st Century take on the Honda Super Cub. Colette covered every shiny part of the scooter with white. The super scooter with pastel colors will be on display and for sale starting May 23 at Colette Paris. Read the full article »
