KTM is set to launch a more touring-focused variant of the largest Duke next month, and now we have some official pictures of the bike. The result is similar to what we expected, the GT version features a more practical chassis, redesigned Euro 4 engine, stronger and longer subframe, larger fuel tank, and many electronic aids, including ABS, traction control, multiple riding modes, hill start assist, anti-rear wheel lock up detection, and cruise control. BMW has just revealed another concept bike – that’s the third one this year, after the Path 22 scrambler concept and the Concept 101 custom bagger. The G 310 has only one goal: to promote BMW’s new entry level, small capacity bike that will be launched at the end of the year. The Bavarian’s newest bike will take on the popular Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Yamaha R3. To speak about the G 310, it’s an agressively styled stunt bike powered by a newly developed 300cc engine. Peugeot revealed its newest maxi scooter for the European market. The Satelis 400i is powered by the same 400cc fuel-injected four-stroke engine found in the Metropolis three-wheeler. The engine puts out 37 hp with 38 Nm of torque through a CVT transmission – plenty of power for congested urban streets and for motorway cruising too. Honda Motor today announced its line-up of concept models at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015. Honda will exhibit a broad range of items including a new 250cc supersport concept that is effectively a preview of the next generation CBR250RR. The seconc concept model is a hybrid three-wheeler called Neowing, but Honda also built an electric scooter called EV-Cub Concept for short-distance commuting. Read the full article »

Back in 2000, ton-up boys around the world donned their old leathers and motorcycle boots in delight as Triumph Motorcycles re-introduced the iconic Bonneville to British roads. Yamaha has just announced a new limited edition of its X-MAX maxi scooter. The Yamaha scooter line sees the introduction of the special edition X-MAX Iron Max model in 400cc, 250 and 125cc versions. The special edition X-MAX features a dark paint scheme and other aesthetical changes. All three models will be exclusively available in Europe. Read the full article »

MV Agusta will release a limited edition F3, a road-going replica of the F3 race bike by Jules Clauzel and Lorenzo Zanetti in the World Supersport championship. MV Agusta will only produce 350 units – 100 in 675cc form and 250 in 800cc versions, so you should act wuickly if you want to get one. The special F3 will go on sale in Italy and will retail for about 17,000 Euros. Each bike will be autographed by both Cluzel and Zanetti. Read the full article »

Ducati has just revealed the new Diavel Carbon. The 2016 version of the bike is now more assertive than ever thanks to all-new graphics and several technical-aesthetic features. The new Diavel Carbon comes in new grey and carbon colours with red stripes and black chrome paintwork. From the technical side of view, Ducati added a Zircotec coating on the exhaust manifolds and brushed effect stainless steel silencers. The bike will be available from October 2015. BMW has just announced important updates and upgrades to its C650 range. For the 2016 model year, BMW’s maxi scooters will have new safety features, improved touring capabilities as well as a new CVT transmission. Both models will be available in new colours and ABS will be standard. Husky will offer a brand new FS 450 for the next model year. Moreover, the new FS 450 isn’t a rebranded KTM since this bike doesn’t have an equivalent in the Austraian’s lineup. The FS 450 looks impressive on paper: it’s lighter, more powerful, it has a new frame, new bodyork, improved electronics including map switch and launch control.
