After revealing the 125cc and 300cc versions of the MP3 Yourban maxi scooter family, Piaggio took the wraps off the LT version of the MP3 300, which can be ridden with a normal class driving license. The new LT is based on the Mp3 Yourban 300 model, and stands out because of a few approval compliance characteristics such as the front track, increased to 465mm, motorcycle type turn indicators, the LED daylight running light built into the headlight assembly and the integral braking which can also be activated on the Yourban LT with the pedal on the footrest. Is this the 2012 KTM 690 Duke? MCN reports that an Austrian KTM enthusiast spotted the new Duke at a gas station near Mattighofen. It seems that the bike on the picture is an early prototype of the 2012 690 Duke, which will gain a couple of extra horses up on its predecessor. The 2012 Duke will most likely feature new headlights and two-part muffler design, but it’s also possible that this is a brand new, 450-500cc Duke. Time will tell. Read the full article »

Canadian firm Lito - Green Motion has introduced a new electric motorcycle. The Sora features the best design elements of Bobber and Cafe Racer/Street Fighter bikes, combined in one electric superbike. The Bobber influence can be seen in the rear fender that is fixed to the wheel, while the Street Fighter influence can be seen in the dynamics of the front of the bike. Italian manufacturer Gilera has released new high-res images of its 2011 Runner line-up. The Runner ST 125 and ST 200 are powered by liquid cooled, four valve, four-stroke engines, while the sporty 50cc versions are powered by HI Per 2 two-stroke engines with carburettor (Runner SP) or fuel injection (Runner PJ): three different engine capacities in four brilliantly-designed engines, all of which are liquid cooled. Aprilia released 127 high-res pictures of the 2011 Tuono V4 R and V4 R APRC, which was revealed back at EICMA show last November. The V4 R is one of its kind with a V4 engine which delivers 167hp at 11,500rpm and 111.5Nm at 9,500rpm. The R version features new valve timing diagram, longer intake ducts, shortened gear ratios, and new crankshaft flywheel with increased inertia. Vespa celebrated its best selling model, the PX with a special week which ended on the 1st April in Rome with a parade of Vespa devotees through the city centre. Moto Guzzi revealed the 2011 Stelvio 1200 8V and its more „adventurous” version, the NTX last November, and now the Italians released a bunch of high-res photos of the machines. The maxi enduro got more attractive and trendy, it features new headlight fairing, a larger fuel tank, updated windshield and new saddle lining. Thanks to the new style, the Stelvio offers more efficient wind protection. The cockpit of the Stelvio features new graphics on the on-board control panel with an increased scale fuel indicator.
