Witness the 2011 Honda CBR125R, which is set to join the Aprilia RS4 and KTM 125 Duke in Europe. The 125cc sportsbike class is getting more and more crowded, and the newest member of this category comes from Honda Thailand. The Japanese brand wanted to build a 125cc sportsbike with the look and feel of a bigger, more expensive machine. The Japanese brand updated its largest, 300cc SH scooter for the 2011 model year. The bike got new frame design, suspension, premium leather seat and 19” cast aluminium wheels, which gave the scooter better high-speed stability. The new model also features the brand’s combined ABS braking system and a long list of accessories such as colour-matched topbox, windscreen and heated grips. Campagna Motors is well known for its three-wheeled machines, like the 2010 T-Rex 14RR. The RR version is the lightest and the most expensive on the Canadien’s lineup. The trike uses a fiberglass bodywork weighing 551lbs, a 1352cc Kawasaki four-cylinder engine coupled with a six-speed gearbox. Peugeot revealed its E-Vivacity electric scooter last November, and as expected, the machine goes into production in 2011. The brand released now more details about the motorcycle. The E-Vivacity is a 100% electric scooter, representing “a revolution in the urban mobility sector, a fun and handy vehicle, with excellent acceleration performances.” – says Peugeot. Moto Guzzi is a small brand compared to, say, BMW or Triumph, so a new motorcycle introduction from the manufacturer is a big news. The Italians made a splash at last year’s EICMA with the three V12 concepts, as well as the V7 Clubman Racer prototype that is now going into limited production as the V7 Racer. Rieju has unveiled the 2011 version of its learner-legal 50 and 125cc sportsbike, the RS3. The new RS3 features a more advanced bodywork and an agressive styling. Power is supplied by a well-proven 50cc liquid-cooled Yamaha 2-stroke-motor or a 125cc 4-stroke engine which delivers about 15hp. Both engines are mated with a 6-speed gearbox. The Italian manufacturer presented the 2011 Monster 1100 EVO at EICMA show in Milan. The updated bike is lighter and more powerful, and now features standard ABS and Ducati Traction ontrol (DTC). The 2011 Monster weighs just 373lbs, 4lbs less than the 2010 version. The updated engine delivers five extra horsepower, which means the 2011 Monster is the first two-valve Ducati that reaches 100hp. New 10-spoke wheels replace the five-spoke units on the 2010 models, with Pirelli Diablo Rosso remaining the OE tire.
