2014 KTM 1290 Super Duke R recalled for potential fuel leak

The Austrian manufacturer is recalling its largest Duke because of a potential fuel leak. According to NHTSA, the threaded inserts that attach the internal overflow pipe to the fuel tank may leak fuel due to an irregularity in the coating process. There is no word on incidents yet and the total number of affected motorcycles is also unknown. Read the full article »

Volkswagen is developing a cheap and foldable electric „scooter”

Martn Winterkorn, the German giant’s CEO, who’s positions look stronger than ever after the battle with former Volkswagen CEO Ferdinand Piëch ended with the latter’s defeat, has just revealed the manufacturer’s newest vision. As German newspaper Bild reports, Volkswagen is developing a tiny electric three-wheeler that can be recharged in the trunk. Hornig makes the 2015 BMW S 1000 RR more comfortable

German accessory manufacturer Hornig revealed a range of accessories for BMW’s fastest bike. The aim was to make the supersport machine a bit more comfortable and practical. In order to achieve that, Hornig built a wide range of accessories, including a new windscreen, seat, protection pads, LED lights and turning signals, brake and clutch levers, rim stripes, exhaust. Pocket rocket – 2015 Honda CBR250R review

The Honda CBR250R is a good commuter bike that offers typical Honda quality. It’s single-cylinder engine delivers enough power for the commute but lacks the ability to excite. Still, if you’re looking for a safe (ABS is available for an extra $500) and economical bike that looks like a 600cc supersport machine, the CBR250R is a fine choice. Watch the new MV Agusta F3 675 commercial – video

Italian manufacturer MV Agusta has released a new F3 675 commercial. The video was shot in James Bond-style and that means a well-dressed rider and a ton of elegance. Since Mercedes owns 25% of MV Agusta, there had to be a Merc in the garage. The F3 675 is ridden by stunt rider Thibaut Nogues, dressed up according to the spy code while the video was produced by Genepi Film. Read the full article »

Husqvarna announces entry into the Dakar Rally

Husqvarna Motorcycles has announced that it will compete in the Dakar Rally with an official factory team from the 2016 edition of the most famous and toughest offroad event on the annual motorsports calendar. The official Husqvarna Factory Racing Team have signed two prominent riders in the form of Dakar veteranRuben Faria of Portugal and Pierre-Alexandre (Pela) Renet of France, who comes to rally sport with impeccable Enduro credentials. The new, purely triangulated steering and suspension system creates ultimate stability for the front end of a motorcycle. Guy Martin will ride the Triumph Rocket III Streamliner in Bonneville

Triumph has confirmed its intention to break the motorcycle land speed record at the salt flats of Bonneville, USA, in August 2015. While the current record stands at 376.363 mph, the Triumph team is aiming to surpass that over the measured mile with the Triumph Rocket III Streamliner. The machine is powered by two 2.3 litre Triumph Rocket III engines, producing 1,000hp and it will be ridden by TT legend and adrenaline junkie Guy Martin. Read the full article »
