An Australian-prepped Harley-Davidson FLTRXS Road Glide Special was able to reach 165.1 miles per hour (265 km/h) at the 25th annual Dry Lakes Racers Australia (DLRA) Speed Week on the salt flats of Lake Gairdner in South Australia in March. Morgan Motor Company has introduced the EV3 prototype at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed this past weekend. The EV3 is an all-electric three-wheeler that is powered by a singler electric motor producing 60hp. According to Morgan, the prototype is capable of 150 miles on one charge, taking four hours to reach full battery capacity. The EV3 is set to go into production the end of 2016. BMW has revealed a range of tweaked bikes for the 2016 model year, including a special edition model of the popular R 1200 GS. The adventure bike will be available in new color options and the bike will also get a new dynamic brake light as a special equipment feature. The Germans also upgraded the ABS brake system. Peugeot has launched the fourth generation of its iconic Speedfight scooter, which arrives in dealerships this summer, ahead of its 20th birthday next year. More than half a million Speedfight scooters have been sold since its launch in 1996 and the new Speedfight 4 gets a complete makeover, with a new engine and higher specification. Suzuki is set to celebrate 30 years of GSX-R with a special livery at the Sachsenring MotoGP race in Germany next weekend, along with launching a new limited-edition production machine that will be available globally. Another advanced motorcycle helmet is seeking crowdfunding on Indigogo, and it is most likely the helmet of the future. It features two HUD transparent LCD displays, dual rear-view cameras, acoustic and visual traffic alerts, solar panel, high-end interior speakers, Bluetooth, and electro-tint visor.
