Honda has just officially confirmed the return of one of motorcycling's most celebrated and evocative names - the Africa Twin. The 2015 CRF1000L will be available later this year and it will battle the BMW GS, Ducati Multistrada, and KTM 1190 models. The new 1000cc naked roadster of Suzuki was one of the most anticipated bikes of this year. The European division of Honda has announced the upgraded SH300i for the new model year. The pinnacle of Honda’s SH range receives a host of improvements to enhance its engine response, carrying capacity, convenience and economy – all wrapped up in new, sharper bodywork. The updated engine is now more economical and Euro-4 compliant, the first on Honda’s scooter line-up. The new SH300i will be available in six colours. Read the full article »

Ducati has announced a new monthly sales record for April. The manufacturer sold 7,309 motorcycles last month, the highest monthly sales total in company history. The top selling bike was the brand new Scrambler, but the 1299 Panigale and Multistrada 1200 models also contributed to achieve these results. Read the full article »
The Knucklehead was a revolutionary motorcycle when it was introduced in the 1930’s. It had a four-speed gearbox, dry slump lubrication, and overhead valve V-Twin when other bikes were mostly flatheads. Basically, this was the bike that made Harley-Davidson. Ducati announced that the 162-hp Diavel Titanium is ready to hit the dealerships. Titanium, carbon fibre, top-quality finish and dedicated design plus billet components – all that for $32,590 (€28,740). You won’t see often a Diavel Titanium in the wild since Ducati will produce only 500 units of the custom power cruiser. Honda and Yamaha are recalling sportsbike owners over a faulty Ohlins rear shock which could come apart during use. Since the Yamaha YZF-R1M barely hit the market, the recall only affects 350 owners while Yamaha has to notify all 2014/15 CBR1000RR owners. In total, 934 aftermarket Öhlins TTX series shocks are being recalled because the piston nut on some rear cushion shock absorders may not have been correctly tightened to specification when being manufactured.
