2012 BMW Concept E scooter revealed

Before the end of this year, BMW Motorrad will establish its new "Urban Mobility" area with two premium vehicles in the maxi scooter segment. The BMW maxi scooters combine the functionality of a scooter with the riding pleasure of a motorcycle. Both vehicles are powered by high-performance and efficient 2-cylinder combustion engines. Based on the BMW Group's sustainability strategy, BMW Motorrad aims to put a premium offer on the market in the area of electromobility in the foreseeable future. Read the full article »

2012 Ducati Streetfighter Official Photos

Ducati has announced the 2012 Streetfighter 848. The bike offers the same trellis-framed styling as its big-engined sibling, along with traction control and revised ergonomics. „With the enhanced geometry of a chassis that provides confidence-inspiring agility, the Streetfighter 848 has enriched its user-friendliness with a smooth and flexible power delivery, revised ergonomics and Ducati Traction Control (DTC),” says a press release from Ducati. 2012 Yamaha WR450F revealed

This is the new Yamaha WR450F. Featuring an all-new tuneable fuel injection system, the proven WR-F’s 450cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled 5-valve engine now delivers even more responsive and adaptable performance to suit the wide range of conditions experienced by enduro riders. 2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900 & Nuda 900 R new pics and details

Husqvarna just released official specs for the Nuda 900 and Nuda 900 R which are certainly revolutionary for the brand itself. Both the Nuda 900 and the Nuda 900 R are powered by the same 900cc two-cylinder engine that delivers 105 hp and 100Nm of torque. The R models are differentiated not just by carbon components and suspension adjustment, but also ride height. The 48mm Sachs forks are fully adjustable and the Öhlins shock comes with compression, rebound and spring preload adjustment as well as a ride height adjustor. Read the full article »

2012 Ducati Streetfighter Evo SP comes with a new 170hp engine

As previous reports suggested the Ducati Streetfighter is getting a major facelift next year. The information was leaked by Ducati’s American website. The new Streetfighter Evo SP will feature a brand new engine. The new V-twin delivers 170hp and 97 lb/ft of torque that is exactly what the 1198 Superbike makes and a significant upgrade to the current Streetfighter, which features a 1098cc engine delivering 155hp and 85 lb/ft. David Hasselhoff coming to Sons of Anarchy

Here’s some surprising casting. David Hasselhoff will be guest starring on FX’s Sons of Anarchy tv show this coming season. It has been announced that Hasselhoff will be joining SAMCRO this October. TVGuide describes his role as, „Dondo, a well-endowed former porn star who is now making major coin by producing sleazy girl-on-girl adult films.” „Who wouldn’t want to play a porno king? It’ll be fun...” the Baywatch star told The Mirror. “I’m also putting together and negotiating a deal to do An Evening With for ITV, followed by a national tour singing the songs of Broadway,” he added. Read the full article »

Suzuki Inazuma to return?

The Japanese manufacturer may be planning to revive the Inazuma name. The original Inazuma name was carried by a retro-styled Bandit in the late 90s and early 2000s. The brand’s last retro-styled street bike, the GSX 1400 disappeared in 2007. Nowadays, there are plenty of naked bikes, but only few of them are round-headlamp retros. Suzuki has now registered the Inazuma name once again, which translates “Lightning”. Now, with the new, more modern-looking Bandit, there is definitely a spot for a retro-styled street bike in Suzuki’s line-up. Read the full article »

Bikers torch Porsche 928 in Icon’s latest video

Icon Motorsports’ latest video has arrived. The video starts with commentary stating “All around the world, motorcycles and cars share the same roads. This video demonstrates some of the situations motorcyclists face every day.” It also involves V-Twin stunt riders Chris Rayburn and Rob Carpenter and a Porsche 928. Icon wanted to remind riders and drivers that they all share the same roads, but the way they did that, is pretty interesting. Read the full article »

Video: Escapism

Escapism: the state of having wandering and imaginative thoughts in order to remove one's self from reality. This short video was written and directed by Barry Munsterteiger and his friends. They just wanted to mess around with some cameras and a Ducati 1198 SP, but they captured more the essence of the feeling of riding in this one video than the last 5 years of all of the bike ads we have seen. 2011 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Sports Pack available

Honda UK has announced the special Sports Package for the 2011 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. The new package will be available until the end of 2011 and will be offered for both standard and ABS-equipped versions. It will be priced at £599 for the ABS pack and £699 for the standard pack. The package includes an Akrapovic exhaust, a bike cover, a higher screen, seat cowl, and a rear tire hugger for the non ABS model. The model will be available with a new HRC tricolor version that includes a stunning gold trim, white wheels, and HRC stickers on the middle and upper front cowl. Read the full article »
