2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R to get new graphics

The current Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was last revised back in 2009, when the bike got many tweaks and upgrades. The 2012 model however, won’t be receiving many changes. Kawasaki recently announced that the bike will only get updated colors and graphics. The MotoGP/WSBK-like graphics are featured for the first time on a Kawasaki production bike; the Ninja name now sits proudly on the fuel tank, while the Kawasaki name has moved to the side fairings. Read the full article »

More photos of the 2011 Aprilia Scarabeo 125 and 200

Aprilia has released a set of new photos of its revised Scarabeo 125 and 200 scooters. Both scooters feature new design, but the mid-size engines also receive an important restyling. The Scarabeo 125 and 200 flaunt an entirely new look, but which clearly recalls the original Scarabeo style. The front shield is new – where the “classic” oval grille returns – new mirrors, turn indicators and saddle, for “entry level” luxury based on the incredible quality/price ratio. Read the full article »

More 2012 Hondas fill the ranks: the CRF150F, CRF230F, CRF250X, CRF450X have arrived

The 2012 model year continues to gain momentum as American Honda Motor Company announced today the next release of new models. This latest update brings a quartet of off-road motorcycles, two sport ATVs and one popular and enduring street bike. New Harley-Davidson Touring, Trike and Sportster models arrive at dealerships

Harley-Davidson has begun delivery of all 15 models in the 2012 Touring, Trike (North America only) and Sportster lines to its dealers in the U.S. and Europe. These motorcycles will be available for sale immediately. Shipment of these select 2012 models has been accelerated to provide greater continuity of supply in dealerships during the peak summer selling season. Video: Chip Yates’s electric superbike at Pikes Peak 2011

Chip Yates piloted his homebuilt 240hp electric superbike to 14,110 feet setting the world record for electric motorcycles on Pikes Peak and placing 2nd in class. Chip was hampered by 2.6 agonizingly slow miles of dirt, a huge oil slick on the Bottomless Pit right hand sweeper, and many hairpins had dirt strewn across them. 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 introduced

Styled in the image of its 1955 namesake, Royal Enfield's latest 500cc Bullet offers riders classic motorcycling from a brand with a pedigree stretching back to 1901, all for less than £4000. And with frugal fuel consumption of 80mpg running costs are equally modest. Valenced steel mudguards, hand-painted gold coach-lines on the petrol tank and side panels, and winged Royal Enfield badges mean that the latest incarnation of the Bullet, which has been in continuous production since 1949, could easily be mistaken for a restored machine from the 1950's. Read the full article »

Considering the sheer size of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it's surprising how little many of us know about it. For many Kazakhstan is the birthplace of the hero in the movie "Borat," however this amazing country is bigger than the whole of Western Europe, but is not an obvious destination for tourists, apart from GS-riding adventurers, many of whom have fallen in love with its deserts, flatlands, steppes and snow-capped mountains. Read the full article »

2011 Aprilia SR Max 125 and 300 revealed

Aprilia has unveiled two new scooters called the SR Max 125 and 300. These are supposed to be sporty scooters fitted with powerfu engines and top-shelf suspension components. The single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4 valve 125 version, equipped with electronic injection, reaches a power of 15 HP at 9,250 rpm: the maximum power and torque values are absolute benchmarks and ensure quick acceleration and disciplined pick up for the Aprilia SR Max, all to the advantage of perfect gear fluidity. Read the full article »
