2012 Yamaha off-road range revealed

Japanese company Yamaha announced its 2012 YZ250F, YZ450F, and WR250F off-road machines, the Majesty 400 maxi scooter and the XT250 and TW200 dual purpose bikes. For 2012, Yamaha’s Off-Road Competition line-up also comprises the YZ85, YZ85LW, YZ125, YZ250, the championship-winning enduro WR250F, the continued YZ-styled 2-stroke PW50 and PW80, and the 4-stroke TT-R50E, TT-R110E, TT-R125LW/E. 2012 models include new graphics, as well as the enduro bikes. Read the full article »

2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS

Suzuki has finally took the wraps off the 2012 DL 650 ABS, the V-Strom. The new bike is longer, taller, and lighter than its predecessor and features an updated engine. The V-Strom has a 3-way height-adjustable windscreen, carefully shaped with extensive wind tunnel testing, efficiently reduces wind noise and rider fatigue. Video: Honda EV-neo

Honda has released a new video about the EV-neo . The EV-neo is an electric scooter that was designed to improve mobility in large cities. The scooter features a 72V lithium-ion battery which sends power to an electric motor that develops 2.8 kW (3,8hp) and 11Nm of torque. The EV-neo has a range of 21 miles (34km) on a single charge. The battery pack can be fully recharged in 3.5 hours with the standard recharger or 30 minutes with the rapid charger. Read the full article »

2011 Benelli TnT R160 now available at dealerships

Italian manufacturer Benelli revealed the new TnT R160 naked bike. The R160 features a three-cylinder engine which delivers 155hp and 120Nm of torque. The bike carries a price tag of $17,000. McGuinness secures 17th TT win and 2011 championship in thrilling finale

John McGuinness won a thrilling PokerStars Senior race on Friday evening when he came from behind to take his 17th TT victory in the final race of the 2011 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy in a new Race Record time of 1:45.45.80, beating Steve Plater’s 2009 time. The race was delayed by 5 hours due to inclement weather in the North of the Island, and the Honda TT Legends rider found himself seven seconds in arrears at the end of the first lap but he gradually reeled in early race leader Guy Martin and he was 13 seconds clear by the end of lap 5. Read the full article »

2012 Buell 1190RS introduced

Meet the new Buell 1190RS. The 1190RS is the first new streetbike to carry Buell’s name since Harley-Davidson discontinued the original Buell Motorcycle brand. The bike is powered by a liquid-cooled V-Twin claiming 175 hp at 9750rpm and 97 ft-lb. at 9100rpm. As previously reported, the 1190RS will use Ohlins suspension. The front brake uses an 8-piston caliper and is equipped with cooling ducts. The base EBR 1190RS will have a price tag of $39,999 while the Carbon Package is an extra $4,000. Read the full article »
