After a race long duel with Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa raced to victory at the Grande Premio de Portugal. Pedrosa who only recently had surgery on his injured shoulder, had been seemingly pacing himself behind the leader, Lorenzo, until the final three laps, when the Repsol Honda rider, passed the Yamaha down the straight and then delivered a succession of fastest laps to pass the chequered flag first. Pedrosa finished just over three seconds ahead of the reigning MotoGP World Champion and closed the gap on Lorenzo’s lead in the standings to just four points. Read the full article »

This is the fourth bike of Walz’s "Racing Legends" Bike Series. The Ligier Gitanes is dedicated to the almost forgotten French Formula 1 driver Didier Pironi. Pironi had an almost fatal crash at the Hockenheimring circuit in 1982 but unfortunately he lost his life in 1986 during an Offshore Powerboat race at Englands coast. The photos of the bike you can see here are ironically made exactly at the same spot of the last remains of the old original Hockenheimring circuit Pironi had his horrible crash at. Is this the 2012 KTM 690 Duke? MCN reports that an Austrian KTM enthusiast spotted the new Duke at a gas station near Mattighofen. It seems that the bike on the picture is an early prototype of the 2012 690 Duke, which will gain a couple of extra horses up on its predecessor. The 2012 Duke will most likely feature new headlights and two-part muffler design, but it’s also possible that this is a brand new, 450-500cc Duke. Time will tell. Read the full article »

We have a new video of the KTM 125 Duke which took part in a backstage video shoot in Barcelona, Spain. The manufacturer is targeting the young crowd with the small displacement bike and it seems that the bike is a real hit. The 125 Duke is produced at a Bajaj factory in India which brings the costs down. But that doesn’t mean you don’t get the latest tech, the 125 Duke features a modern, liquid-cooled engine with two overhead camshafts, a balancer shaft and electronic fuel injection. Here’s the first onboard video of a Ducati Diavel. And not just any Diavel, the bike on the video is a Diavel Carbon Black. This version was introduced last December. The bike features glossy black tank, black intakes and headlamp. In addition to that, Ducati drops the red Diavel’s metal looking air intakes for the matte black revision. Are you curious about the Motus MST’s noise? Here it is, we finally have an audio track of the bike’s KMV4 engine. Development continues on the MST prototypes, shown here at the prestigious Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. At the heart of the MST is a 1654cc V4 which is a downsized version of Chevy’s LS7. The 90-degree engine delivers 161 hp at 7,800 rpm and 122 lb.-ft. at 4,500 rpm, while the redline is at 8,000 rpm.
