Two Brothers Racing (TBR) has just announced that they finished the development of their new slip-on exhaust system to the brand new BMW F800R. The firm says owners of the new exhaust system will experience both torque and horsepower increases throughout the rev range. Spanish Moto2 racing team Bottpower is working on a new project for a private customer, called the BOTT XR-1. The bike is based on a Buell, who acts as a donor of wheels, suspensions, brakes, engine and swingarm. The intention is to create a motorbike with flattrack aesthetics, based on the Harley XR 750 racers. Bottpower says the bike will be fun to ride, and the Harley XR1200 is the most similar thing you can find on the market. The BOTT XR-1 will weight 170kg and will have more power than 100hp. To celebrate Greg Tracy’s last year win at Pikes Peak, the Italian manufacturer created a special edition version of its Multistrada 1200 S. The special Multistrada features Ducati Corse paint livery, black engine guard and red pin-striping on the wheels. In addition to that, the bike will be equipped with Ducati Performance silencer by Termignoni, a carbon fibre front mudguard, custom made seat detailed with red stitching and a race-derived low screen. Derbi launched the GPR 50 and GPR 125 last Summer, and now, the manufacturer is celebrating Marc Marquez with new racing colours. The reason is simple: Marquez won 10 races in the 125cc class of the 2010 MotoGP World Championship. The Italian brand has now nine Manufacturer’s world titles and twelve Rider’s world titles. To celebate the latest world title, Derbi released a special version of the GPR 50 and GPR 125 bikes. Both bikes features new „Racing grey” and „Racing red” color schemes. Read the full article »

The Moto Guzzi V7 Racer was unveiled at the 2009 EICMA show in Milan. Now, Moto Guzzi released a limited edition version of the bike which is already available for order in the United States, and wears a price tag of $9,790. The special edition features a custom looks of the 1960’s road racing bikes. Special features include red frame, swingarms and wheel hubs. The V7 Racer has an adjustable rear suspension with dual reservois-style shock absorbers that recall old racing bike suspension of the 1970s. What you can see here, is America’s first sports tourer captured at Pratt & Miller, the company that designed the frame and transmission of the MST-01. The bike is powered by a 1,654cc direct-injected (GDI) V4 delivering 160hp. The MST-01 isn’t a detuned sportsbike, it’s a ground-up design. Technical details are scare but the company claims that the MST-01 features top-shelf suspension, lightweight chassis, extra large fuel tank, massive brakes and lot of torque. Read the full article »

MV Agusta officially announced last week that the F3 development advances and the bike will hit showrooms this Fall. French motorcycle magazine Motorevue reports that there will be a Roadster version at the end of the year. They already uploaded four photochops from Jerome Vannesson of the bike called the Brutale B3 675. Details are scare but it makes sense that MV Agusta put its newly deveopled 675cc inline-four into a second model. After making its North American premiere at the International Motor Show in New York in January, Can-Am took the wraps off the Spyder Roadster Hybrid in Geneva, too. The Spyder is a three-wheeled motorcycle that utilizes a single drive wheel out back with two other wheels up front. The Concept is powered by a 998cc Rotax engine delivering 106hp and an electric motor. The company claims that the plug-in hybrid is 50% more fuel-efficient than the current Can-Am Spyder Roadster. After several teaser photos, Paul Jr. Designs, the company owned by Paul Teutul Jr. finally revealed the Faro bike. The custom machine was built by Paul Jr., who has partnered with Renegade Wheels. According to the announcement, Paul Jr. will use the wheels of Renegade on its future bikes. “As a new company we are only working with the best vendors in the industry.
