Ducati has released a brief promo video of their new 848 EVO, which will make its debut at this weekends race at Laguna Seca. Italian manufacturer Ducati has just released the first images and initial details of its 2011 848 EVO machine that comes to replace the 848 middleweight bike. The engineers have listened to owners and enhanced the bikes specifications. The Testrastetta engine cracks out 140hp now and the torque has increased (from 96NM to 98Nm), too. Ferrari and Ducati are tied together in more than one ways, so it doesn't bother Ferrari that the motorcycle manufacturer gave him a Desmosedici RR with personaized paint job that’s a mix between the Ferrari and Ducati liveries. Alonso's bike, numbered 1175 of an exclusive run of 1500 machines, was recently handed over to the former F1 champion. A couple of weeks ago we showed you the Ducati car concept by Anthony Colard. Here's another interesting concept of the french transportation designer, which comes under the name C12-R. The Superbike is based off the Ducati 1198 chassis, but Colard has taken his own perception of the italian motorcycle's style, and improved upon some of its deficiencies. Read the full article »
Since 1967, NCR has built very exclusive performance motorcycles. Their latest creation is the Millona 16 or simply the M16, one of the fastest production motorcycles ever built. To create this monster, NCR used only the lightest and strongest materials available. The unique frame and fuel tank, swingarm, faring and even the weels are all in carbon fiber. The italians presented their amazing history in a stunning movie on DVD. The movie will be premiered at the 2010 World Ducati Week at Misano 10-13 June, but it's already available at the Misano World Circuit, the Ducati Museum bookshop and Factory Store.
