MV Agusta will reveal a new supersport machine for the 2012 model year. The bike, called the F4 RR Corsacorta will be powered by a brand new inline-four producing 198hp (12 more than the standard F4’s engine). This is the first video of the bike, which will hit dealer showrooms this summer, with a price tag of around $30,000. Giovanni Castiglioni, son of MV Agusta’s president Claudio Castiglioni has revealed in an interview with Fast Bikes Magazine, that MV Agusta is set to launch the most powerful F4 ever. „In late 2011, we will launch an extreme version of the F4, the RR. It will be the most powerful production bike on the market, with over 200bhp. The MV Agusta Brutale 1078RR is a gorgeous bike on its own designed by Massimo Tamburini. But Moto Corse, the official parts supplier for MV Agusta wanted to improve the Italian machine, so they created the 1133 Evo-CA. The bike features all carbon fibre bodywork, Öhlins forks, TTX shock with aluminium/titanium ride height adjuster, carbon ceramic brakes, and numerous gold-anodized aluminium pieces. MV Agusta announced earlier this month that the F3 development advances and the bike will hit showrooms this Fall. The F3 will be powered by a brand new, 675cc engine delivering about 140hp. According to Visordown, some MV Agusta dealers already saw the completed version of the firm’s other bike powered by this engine. MV Agusta officially announced last week that the F3 development advances and the bike will hit showrooms this Fall. French motorcycle magazine Motorevue reports that there will be a Roadster version at the end of the year. They already uploaded four photochops from Jerome Vannesson of the bike called the Brutale B3 675. Details are scare but it makes sense that MV Agusta put its newly deveopled 675cc inline-four into a second model. The Italian manufacturer launched the second-generation of the F4 last year. But, this F4 is not the original F4, designed by Massimo Tamburini back in 1998. What you can see here, is the last batch of that original F4. The Edizione Finale is based on the 1078 RR 312. The 1078cc inline-four of the MV Agusta produces 191 hp and 91.4 lb/ft of torque, and if you’re brave enough, you can reach 194mph. Brembo monoblock calipers handle stopping duties. The 26th edition of the prestigious annual competition awarded top honours to BMW Motorrad’s Superbike, marking yet another significant achievement in its short history in the marketplace.
