Erik Buell Racing continues to release information about its new 1190RS street bike. This new video, which is the first in a multiple-part series, gives us only a quick glimpse of the V-Twin superbike. Although details are scare, we do know that the bike is based on the 1190RR race bike, which was originally based in-turn off the now defunct Buell Barracuda 2. Former owner of Buell Harley-Davidson closed down Buell before the Barracuda 2 could make it into production. We’re expecting more videos to come. Read the full article »

To celebrate the opening of its new flagship store in Milan, the Italian firm introduced a larger version of its supermoto and released some information about the Moto Guzzi V7 Racer. The newest member of the brand’s supermoto line features a 1200cc 90-degree V-Twin engine which delivers 130hp at 8700 rpm and 85 ft-lb of torque at 7200 rpm. Aprilia says these numbers are at the top of its class. The new Dorsoduro uses similar chassis as its smaller brother but has a more sophisticated, fully adjustable rear suspension. The Indian manufacturer revealed its plans to enter the indian motorcycle market last month, and here’s a teaser video showing one of the company’s models in Italy. Mahindra, an established scooter, 4x4 and tractor manufacturer is moving into a competitive market, dominated primilarly by Japanese manufacturer Honda. “We’re looking to become a credible player in the two-wheeler space in India over the next few years,” said Anoop Mathur, the head of Mahindra’s motorcycle arm. Tha Austrian company is hard work on its new 125cc streetbike, which still needs a name. This model will be the first of the manufacturer’s new range of 125 to 300cc entry level street bikes. No matter if you like the electric motorcycles or not - they're here to stay. We saw the amazing speed of the Motoczysz E1pc on this year's Isle of Man TT, and now here's Jenny Tinmouth's zero-emission lap record at Anglesey circuit, during a round of the UK TTXGP Championship. Her fastest lap was 1:20.922 and had an average speed of 69mph. Wonder how long it will take before electric machines lap faster than petrol-powered machines. Read the full article »

Keeping with its schedule, Triumph has released some new photos and technical data of its 2011 Adventure. The English manufacturer has created a new, 800-ish, long-stroke three-cylinder engine based on the 675 to power the middleweight road and off-road versions of the bike. The engine should be "torquey", have an "exciting top end", "compact dimensions", "controllable power delivery', all thanks to its long-stroke design. See the video below: Read the full article »

Harley-Davidson announced last october that Buell motorcycles will be discontinued. But the fans of Buell never loose hope, and there are new pictures and a video of a Buell street bike. What we can see on the images, is a Buell 1190RR race bike with turn signals and radiator fans, just the sort of thing you might see on a street bike. Legally, Erik Buell should soon be free of the contractual shackles preventing him from talking about or competing with Harley-Davidson. So, stay tuned. Read the full article »

Ducati has released a brief promo video of their new 848 EVO, which will make its debut at this weekends race at Laguna Seca.
